- Hey! I'm Ash. I'm a 25 year old AOT from Central Ohio, and I've been showing Saddlebreds and Hackneys (and once upon a time some Morgans) since I was 11 months old. I own one American Saddlebred show horse (the big grey Winsdown Duquesne/Duke), and a two-year-old filly (Winsdown the Heights/Ramora) plus another filly of my aunt's that I'm starting (Belle). I also own two Hackney Ponies: my first roadster pony Jimmy Jam/Squirt, who is happily fat, retired, and on loan to a local trainer for her young granddaughter to ride, and Party Punch/Ed. All told we have 21 horses who can call our farm home, so there's never a boring day: five gaited, park, roadster, pleasure, yearlings, weanlings, and pasture ornaments - we have them all, and they all have their own unique quirks and personalities which make sure that my Adventures in Saddlebredland are never boring!
